A one-of-a-kind community-wide fundraising event where your children can play creatively outdoors, learn about nature, and experience first-hand the origin of healthy food.
A unique variety of interactive and educational activities are in store and will include:
- Planting Kale and building scented herb sachets with The Organic Gardner
- Creating a healthy snack with Food Revolution Lake County
- Making newspaper pots and planting seeds with The Glencoe Community Garden
- Exploring outdoor living with L.L.Bean
- Creating plaster fossils with Banner Day Camp for backyard excavations
- Investigating worms and decorating garden stones with Willow Wood teachers
Also enjoy complimentary healthy snacks from KIND Snacks and a Peet's Coffee Bar, along with DJ entertainment, glitter tattoos and bounce houses. Bake425, La Cocgnita and The Grand will be providing food for purchase.
All-access bracelets are $25 per child or $5 per exhibit or attraction. Adults and children under 2 years old are free.
